The Chair's Report

8 May 2023

After a long winter and even spring with a lot of rain and grey skies,

we can hopefully look forward now to a lovely May and June.

The flowers in the chapel garden look fabulous, thanks to Ray’s

continues efforts and our services are much loved, led by our

fabulous Lay Leaders with great thoughts and commitment. We

are very pleased that Lesley Lewis could attend this year’s GA in

Northampton. It is such a very interesting event and a great

opportunity to learn all that is happening across our chapels in the

UK. We are very much looking forward to hear about it at our

AGM, which will take place on the 7th May.

Sadly one of our very valued members, Susan Blyth has moved

away to be with her family in the south. She was such a respected

and necessary advocate for the homeless and people in need in

Warrington and will be so greatly missed. However, there is the

promise she will try and come to the services when she can.

I look forward to our AGM where we will be able to give a detailed

account of all our activities and look forward to see you there.

Best wishes

Friede
